What Peekivo is built to do
- You describe what you want to hear about in your own words, and Peekivo answers with one approval card: the page, the rule and an earlier example of a match. Nothing is watched until you approve it.
- Each watch keeps its last attempt and its last successful read apart, so a page that could not be read never looks like a page that did not change.
- When the rule matches, the alert shows the page before and after the change.
- Peekivo reads public pages only and does not get around logins, CAPTCHAs or bot walls. When a read is blocked, the watch says so.
How these pages are written
Facts about other tools come only from their own websites and are dated. We have not run hands-on tests against any of them, so no page says one tool is faster, more accurate or more reliable than another. Each page shows the date its facts were fetched; check the tool's own pages before you decide.
