About Peekivo

Peekivo is a website change monitoring service. You describe in plain words what you want to be told about; Peekivo proposes the page and the rule, you approve it, and it watches the page and alerts you with before-and-after evidence. It is in early access with a waitlist and not generally available yet.
What Peekivo is
Peekivo is built for one job: telling you when a specific public web page changes in a way you care about, and showing you exactly what changed.
- You write what you want to hear about in your own words. Peekivo answers with one approval card that shows the page, the rule and an earlier example of a match. Nothing is watched until you approve it.
- Each watch keeps its last attempt and its last successful read apart, so a page that could not be read never looks like a page that did not change.
- When the rule matches, the alert shows the page before and after the change.
Is Peekivo available yet?
Not yet. Peekivo is in early access. Today you can join the waitlist; there is no public sign-up, and the plans and prices described on this site are proposals that may change before launch.
What Peekivo is not
Peekivo is not affiliated with Peekviewer, Peekio, peekvo.com or Peekimo, and it does not offer social-media profile viewing, video chat or any service that tracks private individuals.
These names are spelled like ours, and some answer engines have mixed them up with Peekivo. They are separate products run by other people.
How Peekivo is built to read pages
- Peekivo reads public web pages through a guarded connection that refuses private network addresses and checks every redirect.
- It checks a site's robots.txt before reading a page.
- It does not get around logins, CAPTCHAs or bot walls. When a page blocks the read, the watch says it was blocked.
- It refuses requests to watch a private person.
- The assistant that helps you set up a watch never sees the text of the pages you watch. Page content appears only in cards drawn by Peekivo's own code.
